+Why does the installation process ask me for Adobe Files?

Some people have experienced install issues with Adobe Reader 7.0 and SCM. This issue appears to be with the Adobe download manager. If the install process prompts you to download Adobe 7.0 files, uninstall the Adobe download manager. Once uninstalled, install SCM.

+What operating systems are supported by Simple Contact Manager?

Simple Contact Manager requires Windows XP (Home or Professional) or Windows 2000. Simple Contact Manager does NOT support Windows ME, 98, 95, and Windows NT 4.0.

+When I try to import contacts from Microsoft® Outlook 2003 I get a security warning.

When importing your contacts from Microsoft Outlook® 2003, this window may appear:

If such an event occurs, click the checkbox and Allow access for: 1 minute. Please click on the Yes button. This allows Simple Contact Manager to communicate with Microsoft® Outlook 2003, to import your contacts.

+I received the security warning: Security Warning: Unsafe expressions are not blocked.

If this window appears below while launcing Simple Contact Manager:

Please click on the Yes button. Blocking unsafe expressions improves the security of Simple Contact Manager.

+Does Simple Contact Manager work with Web Mail?

Simple Contact Manager does not support web mail clients such as Hotmail, Yahoo and other services. Simple Contact Manager supports Microsoft® Outlook 2003 at this time. Simple Contact Manager will support web mail in a future release.

+How do I change my word processor application?

To change your default word processor, go to Setup -> Settings -> Advanced (Tab) and select the word processor. Note that if you already have Microsoft® Word 2003 installed on your machine, Simple Contact Manager automatically changes this setting to use advanced templates.
